Sprenger's latest design, the Novocontact bit provides a mouthpiece with a larger surface area but without increasing bulk. So even if your horse has a low palate, you no longer need to feel that you should have a thin bit. It's streamlined to lay flatter on the tongue but spreads the surface area further to provide a smooth, consistent, comfortable contact - soft with a normal rein contact and more intense with a stronger rein aid.
